Tiffany On A Potential Governor Run: “I Believe That I Am The Best Candidate”
Tiffany initially said he would have a decision about a gubernatorial run in August, but has pushed the date back to September
MADISON, Wis. — In a recent interview with Vicki McKenna, WI-07 Rep. Tom Tiffany discussed his potential run for governor, saying “I believe that I am the best candidate”. Tiffany has been playing footsie with a possible run for governor, telling anyone who will listen that he’ll make up his mind in September. Earlier this month though, Tiffany said he would announce in August.
“Tom Tiffany is the world’s biggest flirt when it comes to playing footsie with a possible run for governor,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin spokesperson Philip Shulman. “He should calm down on the PDA with a run for guv — he is wasting everyone’s time and energy as he uses this as an opportunity to stroke his own ego and gain some relevancy.”See below for Tiffany’s claims that he is planning on an August decision:
