MATC Appoints Three District Board Members, Including Two Reappointments
MILWAUKEE (July 1, 2025) – The Milwaukee Area Technical College District Board Appointment Committee has confirmed three individuals to volunteer positions on the board. These appointments include one member newly appointed and two existing members who were reappointed.
The following individuals were appointed to volunteer positions on the MATC District Board:
Raynetta “Ray” Hill, executive director of the Historic King Drive Business Improvement District No. 8, was appointed as an additional member.
Citlali Mendieta-Ramos was reappointed to serve the MATC Board in the employer (15+ employees) classification. Mendieta-Ramos is the owner and special events director of Antigua Latin Restaurant, LLC. She was first appointed to the MATC District Board in 2019.
Rep. Supreme Moore Omokunde, Wisconsin State Assembly member representing District 17, was reappointed to the elected official classification. He was first appointed to the MATC District Board in 2022.
Their terms begin July 1, 2025, and expire June 30, 2028. The appointments were approved by the Wisconsin Technical College System Board at its May 20, 2025, meeting.
The Appointment Committee members include David Crowley, committee chair and Milwaukee County Executive; Marcelia Nicholson, chair of the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors; Jeffrey Schleif, chair of the Washington County Board of Supervisors; and Lee Schlenvogt, chair of the Ozaukee County Board.
