AG Kaul Comments on Wisconsin Supreme Court Decision in Case Addressing Agency Rule-making
MADISON, Wis. – Attorney General Josh Kaul issued the following statement after the Wisconsin Supreme Court released its decision today in Evers v. Marklein.
“This decision will mean a fundamental change—for the better—in how Wisconsin state government works. No longer will a small group of legislators be able to block or suspend common-sense administrative rules indefinitely. Instead, rules that protect Wisconsinites will be able to be adopted without being subject to an unconstitutional legislative committee veto.”NOTE: This press release was submitted to Urban Milwaukee and was not written by an Urban Milwaukee writer.
