Local leaders gather to share the importance of restoring clean energy tax credits in Budget Reconciliation Bill

GREEN BAY – Wisconsin Conservation Voters will host a roundtable of local leaders representing the Oneida Nation, City of Green Bay, Miron Construction, Union Congregational Church, BlueGreen Alliance, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, and International Union of Painters and Allied Trades on Wednesday, June 11 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Union Congregational Church in Green Bay.

Participants will stress the urgency of restoring clean energy tax credits that the United States House of Representatives dramatically scaled back in the House version of the Budget Reconciliation Bill.

The roundtable will begin with opening remarks, approximately 30 minutes of prepared questions, and the remaining time will be devoted to questions from members of the press, as well as time to interview participants individually.
