MILWAUKEE (May 23, 2025) – Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has been selected to the 2024-25 Kia All-NBA First Team, the league announced today. The selection marks Antetokounmpo’s seventh consecutive First Team All-NBA nod and his ninth season earning All-NBA honors.
Antetokounmpo tallied his third career season with 30+ points, 10+ rebounds and 5+ assists per game this season, passing Wilt Chamberlain (1963-64, 1965-66) and Oscar Robertson (1960-61, 1961-62) for the most 30/10/5 seasons in NBA history. He logged a league-high 22 games this season with 30+ points, 10+ rebounds and 5+ assists, and his 150 career such games are the third-most in NBA history behind Robertson (157) and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (157). Antetokounmpo also led the NBA this season with 35 30-point double-doubles, while scoring 30+ points in 40 total games (2nd in NBA). He recorded a career-high 11 triple-doubles this season (2nd in NBA), including a 42-point triple-double on Nov. 30 vs. Washington that marked his first career 40-point triple-double and the third 40-point triple-double in franchise history.
After leading the Bucks to the 2024 Emirates NBA Cup Championship in December, Antetokounmpo was named the Emirates NBA Cup Most Valuable Player and selected to the Emirates NBA Cup All-Tournament Team. He was voted a starter for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game, marking his ninth consecutive All-Star selection and start, and he earned Eastern Conference Player of the Month honors in January and Eastern Conference Player of the Week honors four times.
