Niche Book Bar to celebrate grand opening in the 6th District tomorrow
Niche Book Bar, located at 1937 N. Doctor Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr., will celebrate its grand opening in the 6th District tomorrow – Saturday, April 26 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. The grand opening will coincide with the 12th annual Independent Bookstore Day, a time to promote, celebrate, and highlight the value of the independent bookstore community.
Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs is thrilled to welcome Niche Book Bar and owner Cetonia Weston to the district. “King Drive has a wide variety of thriving, successful local businesses, and I believe Niche Book Bar will be a fantastic addition to the neighborhood. Cetonia has worked diligently to make her vision a reality, and I cannot wait to see this space come to life. I would encourage everyone to stop by and enjoy the grand opening festivities tomorrow on Independent Bookstore Day,” she said.Niche Book Bar’s grand opening will include attendance from local vendors, a family story time at 11:30 a.m., a poetry workshop at 1:30 p.m. and an author reading and signing from 3:30 p.m. until close.
