WAUKESHA, Wisc. — Today, the Waukesha Deputy Sheriff’s Labor Union (WDSLU) announced its endorsement of Judge Brad Schimel in his bid to save Wisconsin’s Supreme Court. In its announcement, the WDSLU released the following statement:

The Waukesha Deputy Sheriff’s Labor Union, (WDSLU) is proud to support and endorse Judge Brad Schimel in his run for the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Brad is a well-known and well-respected Circuit Court Judge in Waukesha County. Judge Schimel’s dedication to the rule of law, victim advocacy, and rulings – based on facts and not feelings – are factors which make this endorsement an easy one for the membership of the WDSLU.”

In response to the WDSLU endorsement, Brad Schimel stated, I have proudly worked alongside Waukesha County’s law enforcement for nearly 30 years and I am honored to receive the endorsement of these brave men and women. The WDSLU recognizes the need for a Supreme Court justice who respects the law and the sacrifice of public service. As your next Supreme Court justice, I am committed to pursuing justice for all of Wisconsin.”

Judge Brad Schimel has received overwhelming support from the law enforcement community in his bid to save Wisconsin’s Supreme Court. In addition to the WDSLU, Judge Schimel is backed by over 70 current and retired Wisconsin Sheriffs, the Milwaukee Police Association, and the Waukesha County Police Chiefs Association. The only candidate with bipartisan support, Brad Schimel is law enforcement’s choice.
