A Summer of Zoo Fun Starts Now!
Registration for Zoo Camps opens soon.
It’s never too early to start making summer plans, which is why the Zoological Society is gearing up to host a variety of fun and educational Zoo Camps and Classes this summer. Zoo Camps go on sale for Zoo Pass members on Jan. 15. If you don’t have a Zoo Pass, you can start registering on Jan. 22. Camps are available for children from infants to age 15. Our programs provide the perfect learning experience for children to make lasting connections with nature.
Here are a few highlights for this summer:
Neigh, Oink, Cluck, Moo: Join us for a stroller safari with your infant. This class goes out to the Northwestern Mutual Family Farm where you and your little one can practice your best farm animal noises.
Zoo Travelers: This weeklong camp for 4- and 5-year-olds encourages participants to explore the natural world and the plants and animals that call it home, as they explore the Zoo in a new way.Zoo Careers: If I Ran the Zoo: For ages 13 through 15, this 3-day camp will have participants conquering the ropes course, feeding the Zoo’s gentle giants and become immersed in the world of virtual reality.
Price varies for each camp. Zoo Pass members not only get a jump on registration, they get a discount on camps and classes as well. Visit zoosociety.org/education for a look at the numerous camps available and choose what works for your summer schedule and needs.
