AFP Congratulates Committee Vote On Prevailing Wage Repeal
Chapter Announces Launch of Radio Ads Encouraging Passage By Full Assembly
MADISON, Wis. — Americans for Prosperity Wisconsin, the state’s foremost advocate for economic freedom, today congratulated the State Assembly Labor Committee on their vote to pass prevailing wage repeal. The chapter also announced a new flight of radio advertisements which will begin airing today. The new ads will ask citizens to contact Speaker Robin Vos in order to encourage a full vote by the Assembly on prevailing wage repeal .

“Today, Representative Jacque, Representative Hutton, and the Assembly Labor Committee really stepped it up ” said Fladeboe. “We thank them for taking bold leadership to unwind this outdated regulation and save Wisconsin taxpayers millions. They stood up when others refused. Their tenacity and commitment to the people of Wisconsin certainly does not go unnoticed.”
“Americans for Prosperity has been talking to taxpayers around the state about the $890 million dollars repealing this archaic law would save. Today we begin our radio campaign to continue spreading that message. This common sense legislation would save millions that would be better spent on schools, infrastructure or going back into the pockets of hard-working Wisconsin taxpayers.
