All County Canvass Statements Have Been Filed

MADISON – The Wisconsin Elections Commission has received verified canvass statements from all 72 counties after accepting the final verified county canvass statement Monday afternoon.

A spreadsheet of the unofficial results from all state-level and federal contests based on the verified county canvass statements is available on the WEC’s website at the following link: https://elections.wi.gov/wisconsin-county-election-websites

Each of the 72 county canvass statements will be made available on the WEC’s website in coming days.

The WEC’s receipt of the final county canvass statement triggers the countdown for the trailing candidates in the campaigns for U.S. Senate and President to file for a recount. The WEC has not received any indication that these campaigns plan to file for a recount.

The Harris/Walz presidential campaign would have until tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 5 p.m. to file for a recount. The Hovde U.S. Senate campaign would have until Thursday, Nov. 21 at 5 p.m. to file for a recount.

As a reminder, results from the Nov. 5 General Election for state and federal offices are still unofficial. The results are not final until any recounts have been accounted for and until the chair of the WEC certifies them by Dec. 1. The WEC will provide details about the certification meeting soon.
