Commissioner Lafayette L. Crump to be honored as 2025 Wisconsin Titan 100 Hall of Fame
The Titan 100 Hall of Fame is a prestigious honor for a class of elite executives
MILWAUKEE – The City of Milwaukee Department of City Development (DCD) is proud to share Commissioner Lafayette L. Crump will be honored as a 2025 Wisconsin Titan 100 Hall of Fame during an awards ceremony at Fiserv Forum on January 30, 2025.
This prestigious honor has been awarded to only eleven Titan 100 honorees as part of this special commemoration.
Titan award recipients are eligible to make the Titan 100 list up to three years, with each year getting progressively more difficult. To make it to the Hall of Fame, Titans must complete on-camera interviews and answer a series of questions where they do not know what will be asked in front of a live judging committee. The Titan 100 Hall of Fame are a class of elite executives that have consistently shown over the past three years their ability to demonstrate the characteristics of a Titan who is a pillar of our community.
As a member of Mayor Cavalier Johnson’s cabinet, Commissioner Crump leads a team dedicated to growing Milwaukee’s population, bringing and keeping jobs in the city, increasing density, facilitating the development of affordable and equitable housing options, and preparing Milwaukee and its residents for economic success in an increasingly technologically-based economy.
“I am deeply honored to be receiving this prestigious honor. This isn’t a personal achievement, but a testament to the incredible dedication of my team at the City of Milwaukee’s Department of City Development, and the collaborative impact of our work at the City from top to bottom, and bottom to top,” said DCD Commissioner Crump. “I want to thank our city partners, my team, Mayor Johnson, and the community for allowing me the opportunity to serve this great city. I am beyond grateful and promise to continue my commitment toward growing a thriving and prosperous city where all residents, regardless of ethnic background or economic status, can live in safe and healthy neighborhoods.”
This year’s Titan 100 embody the true diversity of Wisconsin’s business landscape. Representing manufacturing, construction/real estate, healthcare, financial services, professional services, and non-profit among others.
Commissioner Crump will be recognized alongside several others making an impact in Wisconsin, including leaders from Marquette University, the Medical College of Wisconsin, MKE Tech Hub Coalition, CG Schmidt, the Green Bay Packers, Marcus Performing Arts Center, Northwestern Mutual, Versiti, Feeding Americ, Perlick and more.
