Cream City Foundation Celebrates the 2024 Business Equality Luncheon Presented by BMO: Promoting LGBTQ+ Workplace Equity in SE Wisconsin

Milwaukee, WI – October 8, 2024 –Cream City Foundation is proud to announce the 2024 Business Equality Luncheon, presented by BMO, taking place on Thursday, October 10th, at The Saint Kate Arts Hotel. This premier event, being held from 11 AM – 1 PM, will celebrate and promote inclusivity and equality in the business community, with a special focus on the LGBTQ+ community in southeastern Wisconsin.

This year’s luncheon features a dynamic panel discussion highlighting local LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs who are making significant contributions in the realms of food, hospitality, and philanthropy. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from celebrated panelists, including Chef Gregory León of AmilindaCaitlin Cullen of Kinship Community Food Center, and Chris Harris Morse of North Avenue Market, all sharing their insights on the intersection of identity, passion, and entrepreneurship.

The event will be emceed by Gerron Jordan, an EMMY and Murrow award-winning journalist with WISN 12, known for his commitment to community storytelling and engagement.

“The Business Equality Luncheon is our largest convening event of the year, and we are excited to partner with BMO to elevate the voices of LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs in our community,” said Charlie Nash, President and Board Chair of Cream City Foundation. “This event not only serves to reaffirm our commitment to equitable workplaces but also serves as an opportunity to celebrate the 20 future leaders who received scholarships this year via our LGBTQ+ Scholarship Program.”

In addition to the panel discussion and scholarship celebration, the luncheon will spotlight Cream City Foundation’s recently announced historic partnership with the Greater Milwaukee Foundation as a vehicle for future growth and impact.
