Event Navigation
The 23rd Annual Milwaukee River Challenge will take place on Saturday, October 5th beginning at 9 a.m. for men’s and women’s teams of fours and eights and will conclude by 2 p.m.
This difficult 3-mile course on the Menomonee and Milwaukee Rivers attracts high school, collegiate and club teams from throughout the Midwest. The course passes through the heart of downtown Milwaukee and the finish line is just south of Pleasant Street adjacent to Schlitz Park. Women’s 4s begins the day followed by men’s 8s, women’s 8s and concludes with men’s 4s in the early afternoon.
In addition, visitors can hear a running commentary throughout the day in Schlitz Park, provided by seasoned race veterans and will also have the opportunity to purchase food and beverages while mingling with the visiting teams, including the US National Team.
