Brady Beach to Host Annual Reggae Sunsplash

Milwaukee— 8/28/24 — The popular “Brady Beach” street activation will be hosting an afternoon of reggae vibes for Labor Day weekend kicking off with DJ Marcus Doucette at 1pm Sunday. Live music from local reggae favorites JD Rankin and the Solomon Royals follows from 4-7pm. The Nomad kitchen staff will be cooking up a Caribbean BBQ for the end of summer celebration.

“We are excited to bring some live music, dancing, and a little fun to the ‘beach’ to celebrate the holiday weekend on Brady Street,” said Nomad co-owner Mike Eitel. “It’s a really fun way to cap off a long summer of events and sets the tone for a full schedule of events going well into fall,” he continued.

The popular pilot program for activated streets started in 2020 in a partnership with the two adjacent taverns and the City of Milwaukee. More info about the annual celebration and a schedule of events can be found at nomadworldpub.com
