Celebrate the Caribbean & Latin America Festival in Walker’s Point this Saturday

MILWAUKEE – Supervisor Caroline Gómez-Tom invites the community to attend the Caribbean & Latin America Festival on Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. This event, hosted by El Conquistador newspaper, will take place on South 4th Street and West National Avenue in the Walker’s Point neighborhood.

“The Caribbean & Latin America Festival is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the diverse cultures that enrich our community,” said Supervisor Gómez-Tom. “I invite everyone to come and enjoy a day of fun, entertainment, and unity as we celebrate the vibrant traditions of the Caribbean and Latin America.”

The Caribbean & Latin America Festival is a celebration of the rich and diverse cultures, histories, and traditions of the Caribbean and Latin American regions. The Caribbean and Latin America are multiracial and multilingual, comprising many cultures, histories,
and traditions.

Attendees can expect a day filled with live cultural entertainment, contests, music, exhibitors, and vendors offering a variety of goods and delicious food. The opening ceremonies will be held at 1:00 p.m. For more information, please call 414-383-1000.
