AFT Local 212 Endorses Jack Eckblad for Milwaukee County Board Supervisory District 4

MILWAUKEE, WI – Jack Eckblad, candidate for Milwaukee County Board Supervisory District 4, proudly announced his campaign’s endorsement from AFT Local 212’s Committee on Political Education (COPE) today

AFT Local 212 describes the mission of their COPE as, “Local 212 is active in the political area supporting elected officials who support [Milwaukee Area Technical College], career and technical education, and our students. We seek increased investments in MATC and career and technical education, support for collective bargaining rights for professional educators, and progressive legislation that meets the needs of and advances the circumstances of our students, our members, and our communities we serve.”

Eckblad responded to the endorsement, “I am grateful to earn the support of AFT Local 212, representing the faculty and staff at MATC. Milwaukee County is at an inflection point that will impact the quality of life in Milwaukee County for generations to come. We need bold, responsible leadership to build coalitions for a progressive, socially equitable, and more sustainable future for Milwaukee County.”
