Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin Endorses in Spring Election
Madison, Wis. – Today Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin released their first round of endorsements for the Spring 2024 election.
“For the health of Wisconsin families and communities, it is critical for our elected officials to represent the values of their constituents. Time and again people across the state have made it clear that Wisconsinites value, and understand the need for, access to the full range of reproductive health care. They value and trust themselves, their friends, families, neighbors to make their own health care decisions. These candidates embrace those values,” said Tanya Atkinson, President of Planned Parenthood Advocates of WI.
“We are grateful to have these reproductive rights champions on the ballot in Milwaukee, and are proud to endorse these leaders,” said Atkinson.
In Green Bay, PPAWI has endorsed Christina Thor for Green Bay City Council District 11. Thor is on the primary ballot on February 20th.
“We are excited to support Christina Thor. She is a dynamic and experienced leader committed to progress on reproductive rights that the people of Green Bay care about deeply,” said Atkinson.
PPAWI released additional endorsements for the April 2nd general election. The endorsed candidates will be leaders who use their power to protect and expand reproductive rights for the communities they represent and all Wisconsinites.
We are proud to endorse:
Dane County Board of Supervisors
Andrea Andrews, District 20
Analiese Eicher, District 3
April Kigeya, District 15
