Gov. Evers Continues to Seek Applicants for Rusk County District Attorney

MADISON — Gov. Tony Evers previously announced that he is seeking applicants for Rusk County District Attorney. The governor announced today he is accepting applications on a rolling basis until the vacancy is filled.

The appointment will fill a vacancy being created by District Attorney Ellen Anderson’s resignation, effective Feb. 9, 2024. The new district attorney will serve for the remainder of the unexpired term that ends January 2025.

To apply, please email a completed application form and supporting materials to GovDAapp@wisconsin.gov.

The application is available on the “Apply to Serve” page of Gov. Evers’ website at: www.evers.wi.gov.
