Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett goes “On the Issues” to discuss city’s upcoming streetcar project vote
On the eve of a pivotal Milwaukee Common Council vote, Barrett will make his case for the proposed Milwaukee streetcar project.
Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett will be the featured guest of an upcoming “On the Issues with Mike Gousha,” Tuesday, Jan. 20, from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. in Eckstein Hall, 1215 W. Michigan St.
On the eve of a pivotal Milwaukee Common Council vote, Barrett will make his case for the proposed Milwaukee streetcar project. While opponents call the project an unnecessary expense for a city facing more-pressing issues, Barrett says the streetcar is an important transportation option that will spur economic development and help attract young, talented workers to the city.
