Supervisor Coggs-Jones to Host MCTS at Upcoming Listen & Learn Session

MILWAUKEE – On Wednesday, May 3, 2023, Supervisor Priscilla E. Coggs-Jones, in partnership with representatives from the Milwaukee County Transit System, will hold her 6th Listen & Learn community engagement session. The event series intends to further educate District 13 residents on the services that are provided by Milwaukee County. Supervisor Coggs-Jones made the following statement:  

“As I stay committed to being ‘the people’s politician,’ I intend to utilize my platform to bridge the gap of communication between Milwaukee County residents and their Milwaukee County Transit System,” said Supervisor Coggs-Jones “With so many changes happening within our transit system, it is vital that we reintroduce the Milwaukee County Transit System to the community, and make sure that they are aware of everything that is available to them.” 

The event will be held from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3rd, 2023 at 2460 N. 6th St, the Northcott Neighborhood House, a multi-purpose community center which services the 53212 and surrounding zip code neighborhoods. 

Attendees can expect brief remarks and conversations with Supervisor Priscilla E. Coggs-Jones, and several representatives from MCTS including, Taja Jackson, Business and Customer Manager; Biltu Hamda, Community & Internal Communications Coordinator; David Locher, Manager of Enhanced Transit, Department of Service Development; Kristina Hoffman, Director of Marketing and Communications; and Denise Wandke, President and Interim Managing Director.
