Rep. Barca calls on Gov. Walker to put the brakes on “Right to Work for Less”
“I call on Governor Walker to put the brakes on this divisive issue that clearly will damage Wisconsin’s middle class. "
MADISON – Assembly Democratic Leader Peter Barca (D-Kenosha) released the following statement today about Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald‘s comments regarding his plan to fast-track proposed “Right to Work for Less” legislation:
“I call on Governor Walker to put the brakes on this divisive issue that clearly will damage Wisconsin’s middle class. As the Governor himself previously indicated, this would be an extremely polarizing policy at a time when we should be working together to improve Wisconsin’s economy. I look forward to meeting with the Governor – hopefully as soon as today – to discuss this issue.
