MILWAUKEE (November 24, 2014) – Dr. Michael Bonds, the President of the Milwaukee Board of School Directors, announced Monday that the Board has directed the Milwaukee Public Schools administration to conduct a review of the compensation structure for all MPS employees.

“We want to make sure we are competitive and able to attract the best employees possible,” stated Bonds. “While recent attention has focused on employees at the lower end of our pay scales, any review of compensation must include all employee work groups.”

Bonds stated that the administration will report back to the Board within the next several months so information is available in time for consideration of the upcoming Fiscal Year 2016 budget.
