MADISON, Wis. – Instead of allowing real journalists into his campaign events, Johnson is taking to right-wing radio to try to rewrite his long history of working against Wisconsinites.

• Fact: Ron Johnson cosponosored a federal abortion ban that made no exceptions for rape, incest, or the life of the mother.
  • “I believe it [life beginning at conception] does’ it’s somewhat irrefutable…I believe it should be protected immediately.”
• Fact: Ron Johnson wants to move Social Security and Medicare into discretionary spending – putting it on the chopping block and threatening millions of older Wisconsinites’ well being.
  • “We’ve got to turn everything into discretionary spending, so it’s all evaluated…”
• Fact: By his own admission, Ron Johnson enriched himself by casting the deciding vote on the 2017 tax bill.
  • “Now, did my business benefit? Sure. Did some of my donor businesses? Sure.”
