Alderwoman Marina Dimitrijevic, chair of the Common Council’s Finance and Personnel Committee, has created new opportunity for residents to provide their input on the City of Milwaukee’s 2023 budget. This new public engagement session will be a hybrid meeting of the Finance and Personnel Committee, and will take place on Friday, October 14 at 9 a.m. in room 301-B on the third floor of City Hall, 200 E. Wells St. This meeting will be held in-person, but those wishing to provide input virtually may do so by registering in advance here. Anyone wishing to provide comment but not speak at the meeting can also utilize the e-comment feature here.

“Budget decisions impact all people in every area of the city, and as such I want to ensure we provide as many opportunities as possible for public comment,” said Alderwoman Dimitrijevic. “If you would like to provide comment on the budget at the committee meeting on October 14, you may do so by joining us in-person, participating virtually, or leaving your comment electronically. Regardless of how you chose to participate I would urge all residents to share their thoughts as we continue budget deliberations.”
