Suspects Criminally Charged in Connection to a Cold Case Homicide
On Thursday, March 4, 2021, the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office issued criminal charges against Donald D. Moore for his involvement in a cold case homicide of Fawzi Abu-Hamdan that occurred on December 28, 2012, at approximately 9:00 p.m., on the 1900 block of N. 32nd Street.
Moore was charged with one count of First Degree Reckless Homicide – Party to a Crime, Habitual Criminal Repeater, Use of a Dangerous Weapon. If convicted, he could face up to 71 years in prison.
The Milwaukee Police Department would like to thank members of the community that came forward and provided vital information in this case. Milwaukee Police received additional information from the public after the cold case story aired on Fox 6. Our collaboration with Fox 6 with cold case investigations has played an important role on being able to bring charges against Moore and bringing closure to Abu-Hamdan’s loved ones.
