Overnight Zoo Delight
Camp inside the Zoo for a good cause.
The Zoo is known to fill an afternoon with excitement, but how about an entire evening? A night full of camping, s’mores and your favorite Zoo creatures is sure to delight. Families will gather under the stars and among the animals for the Zoological Society of Milwaukee’s popular campout, Snooze at the Zoo. A unique adventure for all ages, Snooze at the Zoo will be held Aug. 7-10. Snooze at the Zoo, sponsored by Post Consumer Brands and Sentry Foods, is the only opportunity for the general public to camp overnight at the Zoo.
Media is invited to come to one of the four nights to capture this popular event. Each night features a movie, bubbles, chalk and entertainment sponsored by Educators Credit Union. A picnic dinner will also be served followed by s’mores around a group campfire, sponsored by the Sleep Wellness Institute. Breakfast will be served in the morning as families prepare for a day of roaming the zoo. There will be great stories, wonderful photo opportunities, and a lot of community spirit with so much to see and do. At the time of this release Wednesday night is the only night with space available. All other nights are sold out.
