May 23, 2019 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Join us in our Mezzanine Gallery to celebrate two Milwaukee artists, May Klisch and James Steeno, as they share their nature and Center-inspired artwork. It is here where their passions for color, the land, and raptors come together.
May’s watercolors, which feature birds, other animals, and florals, have been described as earthy, ethereal, and whimsical. She recently began painting in oils. May’s art has been displayed at the Red Line Studio for MKE Swan Day.
James enjoys the immediacy of working in watercolor to create paintings that reflect Wisconsin’s nature, including trees, birds, and dragonflies. He is an independent artist/illustrator and creative entrepreneur who participates in a variety of art shows, fairs and painting competitions around the state.
Both artists have painted wildlife scenes of the Center and some of our Raptors and have items available in our Nature Store. Their gallery artwork will also be available for purchase with the artists donating a portion of the proceeds to the Center.
This event is free and open to all. Registration is not necessary.
The show runs May 23 – July 26. The gallery is open during the Center’s regular business hours, and located on the second-floor mezzanine, which is wheelchair accessible via the elevator.
