Update: Name Released of In-Custody Death

Milwaukee, WI – The inmate who died, on Monday, April 22^nd, in a Milwaukee Fire Department medical unit was Malcolm Barnes. Mr. Barnes was 49 years old.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy and the results are pending.

The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department is conducting the investigation.
