Habitat Launches Historic Midtown Housing Plan
Highest concentration of affordable, single-family homes built in city since World War II.
As part of its Midtown 100 initiative, Habitat for Humanity plans to build 25 homes this year. Officials said the project will create the highest concentration of affordable, single-family homes built in Milwaukee since World War II. A “wall-raising” took place Thursday to officially launch year two of the effort.
I was surprised to see hammers used to drive nails. I thought nail guns had all but replaced hammers, especially in larger projects.
