4th Dimension Recovery Center Opens to Address Opioid Epidemic in Wisconsin

MILWAUKEE (November 12, 2018) – 4^th Dimension Sobriety, an Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse (AODA) treatment center, is pleased to announce the opening of the 4^th Dimension Recovery Center, a facility designed to educate and treat those struggling with opioid addiction.

The new center, located at 1216 North Prospect Avenue, opens on Nov. 15, 2018 and aims to utilize evidence-based treatment alongside communal living spaces.

“As a former alcoholic who’s now ten years sober, I understand how tough it is to overcome addiction and return to a normal life,” said Jason Gonzalez, CEO and Founder of 4^th Dimension Sobriety. “With the 4^th Dimension Recovery Center, I want to provide a holistic approach to opioid treatment and care for individuals physically, psychologically and spiritually.”

According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, more than 130 people die every day from opioid-related drug overdoses. In addition, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports that the rate of statewide opioid abuse has more than tripled since 2005.

With a shortage in local treatment options, the 4^th Dimension Recovery Center offers residents daily services in a safe, nurturing environment. Once the center starts to accept patients, it will operate in conjunction with its parent company, 4^th Dimension Sobriety.

In the future, the 4^th Dimension Recovery Center plans to include clinical services as well as a monthly scholarship to help offset the cost of the program.

The center will celebrate its grand opening with an official ribbon cutting ceremony at 3 p.m. on Nov. 15, 2018.
