Alderwoman Coggs invites public to the Eighth Annual Doors Open Milwaukee Event

Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs is excited to announce that this year’s Doors Open Milwaukee, a weekend celebration of Milwaukee’s art, architecture, culture and history set to take place on Saturday, September 22 and Sunday, September 23 will feature 16 locations in the 6th Aldermanic District.
The event is family friendly and offers special tours of more than 170 buildings throughout Milwaukee’s historic downtown and neighborhoods including more than 30 unique ticketed tours led by leaders of the community.
The Doors Open sites in the 6th Aldermanic District this year include:
1. 5 Points Art Gallery & Studios – 3519 N. Port Washington Ave.
2. Bader Philanthropies – 3300 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive
3. All Peoples Gathering Lutheran Church – 2600 N. 2nd St.
4. Fortress – 1726 N. 1st St.
5. King Drive Commons Art Gallery – 2775 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive
6. Gee’s Clippers – 2200 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive
7. Historic Garfield Apartments – 2215 N 4th St.
8. Milwaukee Public Library-MLK Branch – 310 W. Locust St.
9. Kindred – 1950 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive
10. Nostalgia Home Décor – 1821 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive
11. Pleasant Street Bridge House – 400 E Pleasant Street
12. Pilcrow Coffee – 1739 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive
