County Board Elects Sequanna Taylor as Second Vice Chairwoman
Taylor served as Vice Chair of the Health and Human Needs Committee during the 2016 – 2018 term.
MLWAUKEE – The Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors elected Sequanna Taylor as Second Vice Chairwoman for the 2018 -2020 term today. This is Supervisor Taylor’s second term on the County Board, and will be first as Second Vice Chairwoman.
Supervisor Taylor thanked her colleagues for their support and promised to be an active leader.
“Here at the County Board, much like in life, we are the helpers of one another and must continue to work together. Despite our differences and individual political views, we all want what is best for our district and our county.”
The role of Second Vice Chairwoman will not be Supervisor Taylor’s first leadership position, as she is an active leader in her church and community.
Taylor is President of the Milwaukee Education Assistants Association, and sits on the National Education Association Board of Directors.
Taylor served as Vice Chair of the Health and Human Needs Committee during the 2016 – 2018 term.
Supervisor Taylor will continue to serve the 2nd District and hopes to create an environment that fosters growth, innovation, and teamwork within Milwaukee County.
