Rep. Neylon Issues Statement on New Hiring Outlook
"It is exciting to see that Wisconsin’s hiring outlook now leads the nation."
Madison— Today State Representative Adam Neylon (R-Pewaukee) issued the following statement in response to a new survey from ManpowerGroup Inc.:
“It is exciting to see that Wisconsin’s hiring outlook now leads the nation. According to a newly released survey from ManpowerGroup Inc., roughly one-third of Wisconsin companies plan to hire new employees within the next quarter.
“The results of this survey show business owners believe Wisconsin is the place to create and expand operations. As the Chairman of the Assembly Committee on Jobs and the Economy, I have the privilege of being at the forefront of Wisconsin’s push to bring back quality, family-supporting careers to this state.
“This is a clear indication that the reforms we’ve achieved here in Wisconsin are working. Now more than ever, we need to continue on the path of moving Wisconsin forward.”

Agreed! Onward and upward… The turnaround in the state’s economy in a relatively short period of time has been nothing short of amazing. Let’s keep the success going!!
-Did Walker ever create the 250,000 jobs from 2010 ?
-Hard to measure real net success since the national depression recovery coincided with the local “amazing ” progress.
-The legislative ” reforms ” were just a sideshow.
Hmmm? What the Manpower survey fails to mention (as does Rep. Neylon) is in what industries are the jobs being created and how much do they pay? This survey comes just as the tourist season is revving up, and we know that most of those jobs are minimum wage. Before Rep. Neylon and others get arm strain from patting themselves on the back, lets see if those jobs are family supporting and not just seasonal.
The future of Wisconsin jobs is bleak at best for 75% of these jobs will low paying jobs and Wisconsin has the honor of losing the middle-class the fastest in the country. Destroying clean water and our natural resources is a big winner for corporate donars.
The Manpower surveys are junk. MKE metro is rated top 2 or 3 for jobs outlook every year in these surveys, but the actual metrics never support this. Is it a coincidence Manpower are headquartered in MKE and WI?
