Taylor receives full board approval 18-1
Milwaukee – The Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors unanimously confirmed the County Executive’s appointment of Supervisor Steve F. Taylor to the Eastern Wisconsin Counties Railroad Consortium for a term ending October 4, 2015.
“As the newest member of the railroad consortium, I am looking forward to participating in finding ways to preserve and to improve rail infrastructures throughout Milwaukee County and the state of Wisconsin,” said Supervisor Taylor. “The Eastern Wisconsin Counties Railroad Consortium is not only concerned with maintaining railroad tracks and expanding railroad use, it also focuses on economic development, including finding new customers and regaining former rail ones.”
Eastern Wisconsin Counties Railroad Consortium is committed to promoting public safety and economic growth in all of its member counties in the state of Wisconsin.
Supervisor Taylor was elected to the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors in April 2012 to represent the 9th District, which includes Hales Corners and parts of Franklin and Oak Creek. Shortly after he was elected, Supervisor Taylor was selected by his peers to serve as 2nd Vice-Chairman of the County Board.
