Wisconsin Women in Government Announces 30th Annual Scholarship and Recognition Gala

MADISON – Wisconsin Women in Government (WWIG), a statewide, bipartisan, non-profit organization of professional women in government service, is pleased to announce Rachel Campos-Duffy as the keynote speaker for our 30th Annual Scholarship and Recognition Gala on May 9th, 2017.
Rachel Campos-Duffy is a FOX contributor and author whose work has been featured in a wide range of publications including TodayParenting, CNN.com, FOX News Latino, and The Huffington Post. She has been a recurring guest host on NBC’s Today Show and appeared as a recurring guest host on ABC’s The View for more than a decade. Since 2013, she has been the national spokesperson for the LIBRE Initiative, a non-profit grassroots organization that educates and advocates for the economic empowerment of Hispanics. In 2009, she published her book, “Stay Home, Stay Happy: 10 Secrets to Loving At-home Motherhood.” She is the wife of Congressman Sean Duffy (WI-07).
The Gala, to be held on May 9th at the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center in Madison, raises scholarship funding for undergraduate and post-graduate women pursuing careers in public service. The Gala will also feature the presentation of WWIG’s Rising Star and Legacy awards, bestowed upon remarkable women in government who have made outstanding contributions to their field.
Tickets may be purchased in advanced for $40 for students or young professionals, $65 for government employees, and $75 for private sector employees. For $175, a “Friend of WWIG” ticket provides admission to the VIP reception, reserved seat at a table, and discounts to upcoming 2017 WWIG events.
