The Best Hip Shaking, Lip Snarling Action Returning to the Northern Lights Theater
Tribute to the Kind Contest to Run Jan. 4 – 7
MILWAUKEE (Dec. 28, 2015) – It’s that time of year again, where the best Elvis tribute artists are here and ready to compete for the King’s crown at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino’s Northern Lights Theater.
The four-day event will include daily contests, where tribute artists will be decked out, singing and dancing in jumpsuits, jewelry and blue-suede shoes to compete for over $25,000 and other big cash prizes.
In addition, headlining acts will be held each night to highlight music from the King’s career by previous Tribute to the King winners Cody Ray Slaughter and Bill Cherry. The final night will consist of the All-Star Show and the Grand Championship.
Tickets for headlining performances cost $20, $27 and $35.
Daytime competitions are set for noon & 3 p.m. Jan. 4 – 6, and 2 p.m. Jan. 7. The winners of each daily competition round will compete that night at 7:30 p.m. for the opportunity to advance to the Grand Championship at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 7. Tickets for daily competition performances cost $5 and $7.
