Marquette Theatre presents Stephen Sondheim’s ‘Company’

MILWAUKEE – Stephen Sondheim’s play Company will be presented by Marquette Theatre at the Evan P. & Marion Helfaer Theatre April 9-19. Directed by local musical theatre artist Niffer Clarke, the production will run:
- Thursday, April 9, through Saturday, April 11, at 7:30 p.m.
- Sunday, April 12, at 2:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, April 15, through Saturday, April 18, at 7:30 p.m.
- Sunday, April 19, at 2:30 p.m.
On the night of Bobby’s 35th birthday, the confirmed bachelor finds himself reflecting on his lack of true companionship. With the help of his 10 married friends and three girlfriends, Bobby weighs the pros and cons of married life. Through the dynamic score, vivid characters and energetic vignettes, Sondheim’s award-winning musical depicts the trials and tribulations of relationships and the true home of friends that surrounds us all.
