Milwaukee – Expert Institute, America’s leading expert witness and litigation intelligence platform for law firms, today announced the opening of its new Milwaukee office. The office, which is 60% larger, helps position the tech company for significant further growth and puts the Milwaukee location at the heart of its expansion plans.

The company’s new Milwaukee office is nearly double the size of its prior home, and it has already brought on dozens of new employees. The building is close to many of Milwaukee’s top restaurants, galleries, and cultural centers – giving employees and visitors fantastic dining and entertainment options they can enjoy when they visit the office. Expert Institute is actively looking to grow its employee base in Milwaukee and is currently recruiting for roles across Software Engineering, Sales, Account Management, Marketing, and Research Analysis.

Expert Institute’s tech platform enables more than 5,000+ law firms to find, vet, and manage the expert witnesses their cases depend on. Firms rely on Expert iQ to search a network of over 1 million experts, run in-depth research on retained and opposing experts, obtain physician-reviewed medical record analysis and chronologies, and manage retention, billing, and payment in a single system. By bringing data, analytics, and AI to the most consequential hire in a case, Expert Institute helps these firms build stronger cases and position themselves for better outcomes, one expert at a time.

Expert Institute chose Milwaukee due to the city’s status as a world-class educational hub with UW–Madison, Marquette, Milwaukee School of Engineering, and UW-La Crosse, all in proximity, along with the amenities and atmosphere of the city’s historic Third Ward neighborhood. This combination produces a highly skilled labor pool that Expert Institute can not only hire from, but retain based on both the professional opportunities it offers and its high standard of living.

“We were confident betting on Milwaukee when we moved here seven years ago, and our growth exceeded our expectations by a large margin,” said Expert Institute’s CEO, Michael Talve. “With our new office and hiring spree, we’re doubling down on Milwaukee and look forward to continuing to grow, expand, and innovate with the city itself.”

The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) has supported Expert Institute’s growth in Milwaukee through site selection assistance and performance-based grants since 2021.

“Expert Institute is the kind of innovative, forward-looking business that is a natural fit for Wisconsin,” said John W. Miller, secretary and CEO of WEDC, the state’s leading economic development organization. “WEDC is proud to partner with them as they continue to increase their investment in our state.”
