New DCCC Ad Investment in WI-01 Calls Out Bryan Steil’s B.s.

MADISON, Wis. — A new ad from the DCCC and Mitchell Berman’s campaign blasts Bryan Steil for doubling his net worth while in Congress. The ad also highlights Berman’s commitment to a comprehensive congressional stock trading ban, unlike Steil’s proposal which is riddled with loopholes that benefit the wealthiest members of Congress.

This $271,000 ad buy follows a new poll released earlier this week that shows the race between Steil and Berman tied despite overwhelming Republican spending from MAGA Super PACs in the First Congressional District—a district long considered ‘safe’ by the GOP.

“For too long, Bryan Steil thought that he could get away with proposing B.S. legislation that benefits his wealthy donors and leaves Wisconsin families struggling to pay for everyday essentials,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin spokesperson Rachel La Due. “But Mitchell Berman isn’t backing down from Steil’s billionaire-funded re-election campaign, and he will continue to give Steil and his MAGA Super PAC donors a run for their money by showing voters he is committed to lowering costs and taking on corruption in D.C. head-on.”
