Granville BID Looking to Fill Board Seat

By - Oct 1st, 2026 03:18 pm

Alderwoman Larresa Taylor is encouraging interested business owners, company officials, and other stakeholders to apply for a vacant seat on the board of the Granville Business Improvement District No. 48.

Alderwoman Taylor, whose 9th Aldermanic District includes the Granville BID, said she is excited to invite applicants for the board who want to help build on the momentum the BID has created over the past several years. “A broad representation of business and commercial entities on the BID board is important, and the bottom line is Granville needs you!” she said.

“Are you a manufacturing company in the district, or are you looking for a great opportunity for growth in the Granville BID? Would you like to have a real impact on the district’s progress? If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions, then the Granville BID is very interested in talking to you,” Alderwoman Taylor said.

Anyone interested in applying for the vacant Granville BID board seat should reach out via email by close of business on Friday, October 30, to the Alderwoman at Larresa.Taylor@milwaukee.gov, and to Granville BID Executive Director Neva Hill at neva@granvillebusiness.org.

The Granville BID was created to increase commercial activity, retain the manufacturing base, and create a more vital and active business center from N. 60th St. to the east, N. 95th St. to the west, County Line Road to the north and W. Good Hope Rd. to the south by providing services, creating community events, and initiating improvements to make the neighborhood cleaner, safer, and more prosperous.
