Thanks for sharing this review. Sounds like I’m not missing much. I had considered attending because of the subject matter interest, but discovered that single tickets are $120 plus fees and tax, a rate I find unpalatable for the Milwaukee community and which feels to me a barrier to the nonprofit organization pursuing its mission to “inspire meaningful dialogue among an audience representative of Milwaukee’s rich diversity.”
On the topic of AI/society provocatively explored through locally accessible artmaking, I did find very inventive and delightful the local collaboration between Present Music and Quasimondo Theater Company in their Valentine’s Day weekend production of Avant Garden of Love at UWM’s Jan Serr Theater. I was able to attend that by taking advantage of my Urban Milwaukee membership and found the experience quite worthwhile.
