Tearing down nice looking buildings with character and replacing them with a drab, lifeless, generic, depressing. ugly looking warehouse with partitioned spaces with balconies for people with no souls.
Let’s say a prayer for another historic part of Milwaukee that’s about to be murdered by a worthless, no talent, politically connected developer.
Amen.
Milwaukee is throwing away it’s history. You can’t get that back. These beautiful old buildings could be incorporated into new design – it’s not an either/or situation.
Milwaukee has many problems, but one of it’s assets is the preservation of some of the architecture from its past. Don’t think you are improving the city by becoming generic! Celebrate what is unique and special about this city!
