The Bach Chamber Choir, directed by Jonathan Kim, will celebrate the Christmas season by offering a free online concert on
January 3, 2021, Sunday, at 3:00pm.
It will be streamed on our Facebook page, Bach Chamber Choir Milwaukee, and our You Tube Channel.
The program will include
– arrangements of some of the well-known Christmas tunes: “Angels we have heard on high”, “The first Noel”, “The Huron carol”,
– an arrangement of the French Renaissance carol “Bring a torch, Jeanette, Isabella”, and – other seasonal pieces: “All my heart this night rejoices” (by Z. Randall Stroope), “O magnum mysterium” (by Morton Lauridsen), “A babe is born” (by William Mathias), and “A Christmas blessing” (by Philip W. J. Stopford).
We hope you will join us as we begin the New Year with music radiating, in this troubled world, the Christmas spirit of gratitude, joy, and hope!
