Join Alderman Nik Kovac and Urban Milwaukee President Jeramey Jannene Thursday at 5:30 p.m. for a discussion on City Hall, being an elected representative during a pandemic and what might come next. Kovac will join Urban Milwaukee for the first of its new weekly happy hour series.

You’ll want something to drink while you listen, so pick up a four-pack of beer from Gathering Place Brewing Company. The brewery is giving members 10 percent of all purchases.

Kovac will discuss how his job representing Riverwest and the East Side at City Hall has changed as a result of the pandemic and how the city is responding. Jannene and Kovac will also discuss some of the hot local issues before opening it up to questions from members.

The new happy hour series will feature a different guest and local business partner each week.
