  1. This would be an excellent addition to the neighborhood. I live nearby and would love to be able to live in the neighborhood in my senior years. I hope that this proposal gets approval, and it is not “cut down” by people seeking to suppress the supply of housing in the area. I would just hope it would have been taller to add more to the supply of affordable housing. Near the Hop streetcar stop, this would be a major benefit to potential residents of the neighborhood. As a nearby resident, I am all for it. I would suggest that they add more stories to it and more affordable apartments. Relax minimum parking requirements, as it is close to the streetcar stop and transit.

I hope this is the beginning of HACM housing that can then help fund more HACM housing for the truly poor. . Only govt can build truly affordable housing for the people who don’t even qualify for “affordable “ housing. I think this can start the infrastructure for the next layer thatbso badly needs it.
The City should keep “hiring itself”. Putting a developer profit line in will always make it too expensive for truly poor people. Where are they supposed to live?
    Good work, City!
