Join the Urban Milwaukee team in celebrating the publication’s 10th anniversary at the Pabst Milwaukee Brewery and Taproom. We’ll raise a toast to a decade of chronicling the city we love, and share a pint as we begin our second decade championing Milwaukee in a building that is entering its own second act.
The new Pabst Brewery opened on Milwaukee Day in 2017 in the former First German Methodist Church on the edge of the brewery’s long-since closed campus. With the complex redeveloped as an urban neighborhood, Pabst has come back home to Milwaukee and opened a microbrewery in the very spot they grew into a household name.
Admission to the party includes an open bar (tap beer, including beers from Milwaukee’s past and ones hinting at the city’s future).
We’re thrilled to announce that catering at the event will be provided by Black Shoe Hospitality, the operators of popular Milwaukee restaurants Maxie’s, Story Hill BKC and Blue’s Egg. They will be serving up Pulled Pork, Vegetarian Jambalaya, Slaw, BBQ Beans, and their Supper Club Salad.
Admission to the party is $20 and tickets are available in advance to skip the line at the door.
You’ll get a chance to hear what we’ve been up to in the past year, including our record growth, rapidly-growing membership program, and learn about aggressive expansion plans for 2018.
You’ll also be able to meet other Urban Milwaukee readers and talk about the city you love with Urban Milwaukee writers.
