By far the best screen Annie is from Disney, the 1999 TV production with Audra McDonald, Kathy Bates, Kristin Chenoweth, Victor Garber and Alan Cumming. Outshines them all. The Skylight will do a great job with this, too.
The 1999 TV version?! Are you serious? The one everyone **actually** knows and is the most beloved is 1982 feature film with Albert Finney, Carol Burnett, Ann Reinking, Tim Curry and Bernadette Peters. No one remembers the Audra McDonald one. No one.
