This conversion is such a great thing for downtown and for West Town. The whole matter of melting down the sculpture is just so odd. I mean, why not preserve it, sell it, and make some money? Really bad energy on behalf of the developers.
On another note, I’m kind of hoping the dot-and-dash windows on the top floor spell out something clever in Morse Code. 😉
