Surely the Riverwalk section is bigger than 420 sq ft, right? That’s only 10ft x 42ft or 5ft x 84ft and I think the river frontage is longer than either of those.
@Rich – Many orders of magnitude bigger. It’s 420 feet long. Error on my part.
Congrats to Mayor Tom Barrett and Barry Mandel. This project fills the space between the Beer Line/Lower East Side neighborhoods and Downtown. The walk along the Milwaukee River to North Avenue and the natural beauty beyond will now be much more attractive.
You are quite right Mr. Former Mayor Norquist.You Ginitiated the Riverwalk development mandate early in your tenure. You framed it as an essential componentof the development of urban Milwaukee.Said it wouldtake more than a decade to complete.
