What is your job and its responsibilities?
I work as a Financial Analyst for Associated Bank supporting our Commercial Real Estate and Corporate Credit groups. My responsibilities include creating their annual budgets, managing monthly forecasts, completing monthly financial reporting and running ad-hoc analysis as needed. Additionally, I am the Young Professionals of Associated community involvement committee leader. I really enjoy this because it’s given me the opportunity to not only develop partnerships with different non-profits in the community but also organize volunteer opportunities for our Milwaukee colleagues.
How would you rate Milwaukee as a place to socialize and play?
I think Milwaukee is a phenomenal place, especially during the summer months. Between all of the festivals, Brewer home games, brewery tours, concert series, Milwaukee Zoo, Bradford beach, etc. there’s always something going on!
Do you see this as a good city for young people?
I think Milwaukee is a great place for young people. It’s home to several large companies that span several sectors of the business world, allowing for ample post-college job opportunities. Additionally, Milwaukee offers year round entertainment to keep young people busy.
Summerfest. There’s nothing better than being on the lakefront with family and friends, a cold drink in your hand listening to your favorite bands!
What is your favorite Milwaukee building?
There are so many amazing buildings. If I had to pick one, though, I think it would be the Milwaukee Grain Exchange building. There is so much history in the building and the interior is absolutely stunning.
Who is your favorite Milwaukee personality?
My favorite is Bob Uecker, there’s nothing better than hearing him say, “Get up! Get up! Get outta here! Gone!”
